When guys are watching movies we want to see explosions, gunfire, fighting and the occasional nudity. Either that, or we want to laugh our asses off. All while being able to recite parts of the movie days later.

We avoid movies with too much emotions and feelings, uneasy depth and seriousness. We know that violence beats sex (but only just), we know that war beats peace and we know that the only acceptable crying comes from laughing at farts or Jim Carrey.
